Sea Freight China to Australia: FAQ
Sea freight from China to Australia usually takes about 2-4 weeks port to port, depending on the origin port, the destination and the sailing schedule. Allow extra time for pickup, export clearance, Australian customs clearance and final delivery.
The cost depends on the container size (20ft or 40ft), the origin and destination ports, the season and the type of cargo. For smaller loads, LCL is priced by volume (CBM) or weight. Send us your cargo details and we will quote a total door-to-door cost.
Choose FCL (full container load) when your cargo fills most of a 20ft or 40ft container, or when you want a sealed container just for your goods. Choose LCL (less than container load) for smaller shipments, where you only pay for the space you use.
We book 20ft and 40ft containers, including 40ft high cube. If you are not sure which size you need, share your carton count, dimensions and weight and we will calculate it for you.
We ship to the main Australian ports, including Sydney (Botany), Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle (Perth), with onward delivery to your warehouse or address.
